NATHAN WADE
After a long hiatus, Nathan Wade returns to his foot-stomping, solo acoustic ways. His original songs are a rough and rowdy collection of murder ballads, fire & brimstone gospel, and gothic country blues; throw in some choice covers from classic country stars to modern hard rockers and baby you got a stew going. His live shows aren't for pearl clutchers or the faint-of-heart, but he's logged enough decades behind the mic to read the room. A solid opener or playing the whole damn night by his lonesome, Nathan Wade is here to warm the darkest parts of your ever-loving heart.
“Americana…hard boiled, blues drenched and served with grits on the side.” Americana UK
“An accomplished guitarist and an extraordinary songwriter...Nathan Wade defies categorization.” Washington Blues Society
“Wade's music could properly be described as dark. And not just dark, but profoundly, poetically, biblically dark...” Cascadia Weekly

TECHNICAL STUFF: Nathan splits his acoustic guitar signal between a standard piezo guitar sound and an octave-down bass sound; he can send two balanced signals to FOH. He also performs with a 14” kick drum; mic optional depending on venue size. For smaller venues and more intimate performances, he’ll swap the kick drum for a Meinl Bass Box (about the size of two shoe boxes) to minimize volume.
